What is it?

DWF is a global company, in Manchester, UK that is giving grants under its CSR. 

Scope of work?

DWF Foundation works in the areas of  areas Education, Employability, Homelessness, Health and well-being, Environment and sustainability.

DWF Foundation would not make grants in these areas:

• Academic research
• Activities for which a statutory body is responsible
• Activities taking place during school time that is a statutory responsibility.
• Animal welfare
• Evaluation that is not related to the funded work
• Every day running costs and core salaries
• General fundraising appeals
• Individuals
• Loans or business finance
• Other grant-making bodies
• Professional fundraisers or bid writers
• Professional qualifications
• Recurrent funding
• Redundancy payments
• Religious and political causes
• Sponsorship/marketing appeals/fundraising costs
• Startup costs for new organizations
• The advancement of religion
• Universities/HE facilities
• Vehicles and mini-buses
• Work that has already taken place

Budget Details

Grant will be made in the local currency of that country. There is no minimum bar but an equal to or a maximum of £5,000 (sterling) would be granted for one year. The foundation does not support multi-year projects.

Submission Details

DWF Foundation accepts grant applications thrice a year, following are the timelines:

1. 01/10/22 to 31/01/23 (Oct to Jan)
2. 01/02/23 to 30/04/23 (Feb to April)
3. 01/05/23 to 31/07/23 (May to July)
