Funding Alert 5: Lemonaid & ChariTea Foundation

Presenting an opportunity to apply for Lemonaid & ChariTea Foundation Grant

What is it?

The Lemonaid & ChariTea Foundation is currently accepting applications from local non-profit organizations in India in the following regions:

• Tamil Nadu
• Karnataka
• Bihar
• West Bengal
• Darjeeling
• Sikkim

The projects need to be under the following thematic areas:

• Value Chains
• Education
• Advocacy
• Access to Finance
• Gender
• Marginalized people
• Innovation
• Climate and Resource Management

Funding guidelines:

1. Organization: The applicant organization must be recognized as a non-profit organization, NPO or NGO.
2. Timeframe & budget: Amounts between 10,000€ – 50,000€ per calendar year can be funded. The maximum project duration is three years. Applications for multi-year projects are encouraged. However, if there is a good case for a one-year application, it may be considered.
3. Evaluation: The entire process from evaluation to funding can take up to 6 months.
4. Grant Approval: In case of a positive decision on your application and after clarification, visitation and administration, a Memorandum of Understanding will be signed between your organization and the Foundation.
