Meet Aarohi, a 10-year-old girl who bears her father's last name but not his presence. Abandoned and denied the love she deserves, Aarohi's story is a testament to the resilience of children facing adversity. Her father may have walked away, but her mother stands as her unwavering pillar of support. Working tirelessly as a janitor in a local nursing home, she's determined to provide her daughter with the opportunities she deserves.
Aarohi's story is not unique. There are countless children like her, born into challenging circumstances, who possess the potential to excel in their studies. Yet, they find themselves punished simply for not being born with certain privileges.
This campaign is focused on changing this narrative for 100 children living in and around Kankura Masat Village, near Kolkata. Our goal is clear: to provide these children with the educational opportunities they deserve.
The parents and guardians of these children work tirelessly and aspire to provide their children with a quality education, but financial constraints often stand in their way. That's why we partner with Kankura Masat Social Welfare Society (KMSWS), an organization running a school that serves children from resource-poor households, including many from single-parent households. This school provides high-quality education with only nominal fees, offering an opportunity for the parents to fulfil the dreams for their children and for the children to break the cycle of poverty.
But the children still lack many basic facilities that make for proper learning conditions.
With your generous contributions, we will be able to
Moreover, this campaign will encourage more parents to enroll their children in this school, knowing that it offers comprehensive support for their growth and development.
By contributing to our campaign, you enable these children to pursue their dreams and aspirations and unleash their potential.
