Developmental stages are very important to be monitored during childhood, reaching certain milestones much earlier means a child maybe advanced compared with his or her peers of the same age group, even reaching the milestone according to the stages also shows positive development growth. To attain these growth goals, certain aspects are to be met such as focusing on child’s nutritional status, emotional needs etc. While most children are blessed with parents, guardians, care givers etc. who are able to keep a check on the milestones achieved a lot of them aren’t lucky enough to have this fundamental support system.
Children living on street are often dependent on themselves trying to fight off all the situations inflicted upon them, managing their food and survival all on their own. To help these children attain a healthier and sustainable development goal INDIAdonates with its on-ground partner Jamghat- A group of street children will be providing basic necessities to orphaned street children through this campaign.
Jamghat has two children homes in Delhi catering to the needs of children who live without family or safe homes, Aman home for 14 boys and Aanchal home for girls where in 11 girls are currently residing, both these shelter homes have 3 care takers and 1 center in-charge to take care of all the children, look after their well-being, providing them safe, healthy, hygienic and family like environment for them to grow, develop & lead a confident and dignified life as every child should have.
This campaign focuses on looking after 25 children of the safe home by providing them nutritional food (3 meals + 1 snacks) cooked by care staff to help them attain their developmental milestone and lead a healthy life. It also focuses on providing toiletries such as bathing soap, washing powder etc. allowing them to have a hygienic surrounding.
