SINAM (Sadayanodai Ilaignar Narpani Mandram) is a registered non-profit making voluntary organisation, operating since 1986 in Tiruvannamalai District, operating under society’s registration Act. They focus on various intervention programmes including women development, child development, ecological development, health care programmes, poverty eradication programme, skill training, income generation programmes, community based rehabilitation for the differently abled people etc., for Thurinjapuram block, Tiruvannamalai block and Tiruvannamalai Municipality area.The major objectives of SINAM are to uplift poor children and destitutes, promote the welfare of differently abled people – under privileged women – unorganized and marginalized labour force, widows – people with HIV / AIDS, Dalits and empower them for their own development. The target community includes – working children / child labour / underprivilege children.
Reduction of the gap between rich and poor with social justice and establishment of the harmonious society where the people are free from poverty, hunger, diseases and injustice. People are the subjects and partners in Develpoment.
To develop the oppressed and down trodden community through their own full participation and social action programme for the achievement of their livelihood, social security human rights, gender equity and solidarity for their sustainable development.
