The Asha Kiran Society is a non-profit organization registered under the Societies Act of 1860 in the Koraput District of Orissa State. The Society was started with the vision of holistic development by a team of young people in 1991 in this needy area of Orissa. With the theme of “Teaching everyone with all wisdom” the Society undertakes various development activities. From the original team of 8 the team today consists of 150 full-time staff and about 130 volunteer community health & development workers in Lamtaput Block of Koraput District and Khairput Block of Malkangiri district in South Odisha.
