INDIAdonates partners with 26 rural charitable hospitals across 20 states for COVID-19 response

NEW DELHI: INDIAdonates has partnered with 26 rural charitable hospitals across 20 states for Covid-19 response. It is a platform that supports small and mid-sized Indian NGOs

Within 10 days of campaigning it has raised over Rs 1 crore and funded three hospitals through international funding agencies.Additionally, it has partially funded four more hospitals and provided Covid-related medical equipments like ventilators, concentrators, pulse oximeters, and more.

INDIAdonates' Covid response “Upgrading Rural Medical Infrastructure in India,” has helped over 2,298 patients across different states.

In a joint statement, INDIAdonates founders Sanjay Patra and Sandeep Sharma stated, “When we started our Covid-19 response work in mid April, we were determined to anchor all our energies in augmenting the rural healthcare infrastructure, because rural India lacks the machinery to both deal & recuperate from a national health crisis, and it could prove lethal in more than one ways. Even if cases plateau, we strongly intend to work with rural hospitals to build resilient health infrastructure which can withstand any number of Covid waves.”
