Children with Special Needs (CwSN) encounter substantial lifelong challenges and need customized support and services to flourish. Early intervention and subsequent holistic care are crucial for realizing their full intellectual, emotional, and social potential. This process involves evaluating a child's developmental abilities and designing a personalized program that addresses their educational, health, and mobility needs. A holistic approach like this aids in improving developmental skills and promoting overall growth.
INDIAdonates, in collaboration with Rajasthan Mahila Kalyan Mandal (RMKM), is dedicated to the comprehensive development of Children With Special Needs (CWSN) in Ajmer, Rajasthan. Currently, RMKM supports approximately 2,000 children through its centers.
A significant challenge for RMKM is the high cost of electricity, crucial for operating therapy equipment and vocational training machinery. The campus faces monthly electricity bills exceeding Rs. 20,000 and frequent power outages further escalate costs due to generator maintenance and fuel.
The campaign seeks to install solar panels to provide a sustainable and cost-effective solution. By generating renewable energy, we aim to cut down electricity expenses and eliminate power interruptions, ensuring a continuous support system for these children.
