Service Initiative for Voluntary Action Trust

Service Initiative for Voluntary Action (SIVA) Trust was established in the year 1994 by a team of committed and socially concerned volunteers who were individually doing social service activities. Having realized the importance of collective efforts and legal recognition, they came forward jointly to promote SIVA Trust for the development of the deprived and downtrodden people in Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu. 

SIVA Trust was incorporated as a Trust under the Indian Public Trust Act in the same year.  The organisation is concentrating in developmental activities towards the rural and semi urban people for their socio economic, health and education status improvement in Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu in India since its inception through its various development programmes. From the year 2017, it has taken up a project for the land rights and agricultural development of the hill tribes throughout Tamil Nadu.
